Upon departure of SVA MFAD Program in New York, Karlovich worked as Information / Design Consultant for the United States Department of Energy. He then became an intern, junior, then senior designer at the recognized design agency, ATTIK in New York City, San Francisco, and Leeds UK. Working on accounts such as Nike, Coca-Cola, MTV, AOL, Adidas, and Toyota Scion.
After the closing of the ATTIK New York Office, Karlovich had joined Fahrenheit-212 (an experimental sub-division of Saatchi & Saatchi) as an Art Director working in innovations, branding, and packaging with super-brands such Diageo, Gucci Group, Proctor & Gamble, Hershey’s, Vogue, NBC, GQ, Esquire, and Philip Morris.
In March of 2007, Santos & Karlovich was launched as a small studio in Brooklyn, New York. Working with clients such as Ford Motor Company, Nike, Pepsi, Coke, Motorola, and Visa. S&K also worked with many agencies globally such as TBWA Chiat Day, JWT, Mother, RG/A, Big Spaceship, Wieden+Kennedy, AKQA, Sid Lee.
Karlovich then accepted a Designer / Art Director position at Nike in The Netherlands in Brand Design working on the Running, Womens, Sportswear, and Football categories. While at Nike, Karlovich worked on digital, print, retail and interactive global campaigns.
Upon leaving Nike, Karlovich accepted a position as design director at ...,staat Amsterdam specializing in Boutique Brand strategy and design working with Levi's, Nike, Converse and Bols Genever.
Nedjelco-michel is currently self-employed, and lives/works independently in Amsterdam, Netherlands. More information and availability upon request.
